PHILADELPHIA, PA, November 30, 2023 – The African American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ, & DE (AACC) is pleased to announce the expansion of their executive leadership team with the addition of Tashyra C. Ayers as Director of Advancement & Corporate Partnerships. In Tashyra’s new role she will be entrusted with strategic leadership and overseeing multifaceted responsibilities that include driving business expansion, revenue generation, staff development, and internal operations management. By way of strategic business development, Tashyra will cultivate the life-cycle of mutually beneficial relationships that result in multi-year support from corporate partners. In doing so, she will drive diversification initiatives for revenue growth.
Tashyra works alongside President & CEO, Regina Hairston to continue elevating AACC’s influence and impact as the voice of choice in all things business, policy, and professionalism for Black businesses and their owners. “Welcoming Tashyra to our executive leadership is a testament of our progress as we continue on our mission of promoting the vision, voice, and value of Black businesses,” said Regina A. Hairston. “Tashyra’s diverse background and innovative approach will help further our upward trajectory.”
The addition of a talent like Tashyra opens the door for infrastructure enhancement while strategically telling AACC’s story, and that of its members. She looks to advance current partnerships while identifying new, advantageous relationships with high-value organizations. Relationship equity is imperative to the AACC, and Tashyra is dedicated to discovering more opportunities for procurement, contracting, and sponsorship for Black businesses and business owners.

Rolling Out Magazine named Tashyra Ayers a “Sister with Superpower” in 2022 during their national awards recognition of women in business. In addition to her two decades of experience in corporate America, Tashyra is a three-time founder, award-winning media personality, and a published voice actor with audiobooks on Audible.com. Tashyra arose from being a teen Mom at 14 years old, to become a multifaceted voice and visionary who liaisons for entities she serves.
“As a balanced, and well versed professional I am uniquely qualified to support Black businesses from both an entrepreneurial and corporate perspective. I speak both languages,” Tashyra said. “I understand firsthand the challenges and the opportunities that come with being a business owner, as well as what it takes to be a successful, Black woman in corporate America.”
Tashyra is a multi-hyphenated trailblazer with decades of experience across the corporate and entrepreneurial spectrum. Prior to AACC, Tashyra was with REC Philly as the Director of Business Development. This role brought her back to the Philadelphia and Tri-State area after spending seven years as a solopreneur in the Atlanta, New York, and LA markets.
“I believe in the power of voice and the impact of sound, and I will use this power to liaison and champion on behalf of the AACC and Black businesses in the Tri-State,” Tashyra said.

ABOUT TASHYRA AYERS: Tashyra is a master relationship curator who identifies and secures high-value, B2B partnerships across industry lines. She manages six and seven figure budgets while negotiating and securing multi-year agreements with Fortune 500 companies. From corporate liaison, curator of profitable relationships, to voice strategist and communications coach Tashyra works with executives, entrepreneurs, and employees mentoring and training them on the art of public speaking, results-driven communications, and curating relationships. In 2017, she self-published a book of personal journals. In 2018, Tashyra founded the Mother’s Day Brunch which awarded educational scholarships to teen Moms. She studied communications at Delaware State University and Rowan College. She holds a degree in Biblical Studies and a minor in Civic Transformation & Social Engagement. In 2021, Tashyra was featured in the international magazine, ELEMENTS.
